Concorde used to announce herself as "Speedbird Concorde One" or "Speedbird Concorde Two"...."Speedbird" being the callsign of all British Airways flights, "Concorde" to identify the model of aircraft as having particular characteristics (the same as the usage of "Heavy" in FAA-controlled airspace) and "One/Two" the flight numbers.

All other BA flights run something like "Speedbird One Two Four" being the BA124.

"Shuttle" is used on LHR-MAN/EDI/GLA and NCL.

"Bealine" is used for ground movements (e.g. from Terminal to Eng. Base and vv) at LHR.

There you go....font of useless information indeed.
