yes - i can remember working at LGW when Concorde was still flying and listening to ATC where the Speedbird callsign was being used. However, anyone with any interest at all knew the Concorde flight numbers and so could tell when they were around..

Really cannot remember what happens at the regionals. Can't recall hearing Shuttle as a callsign, but I can't remember what is actually used
