HP's first class is like any other domestic FC -- better than coach but not worth what they charge for it. In other words, it's great when you get complimentary UGs.

I think the leg room complaint is valid (and hopefully, they'll consider doing something about that when they are profitable again), but just go for the bulkhead if possible. Service and drink selection compares favorably with CO and NW. I haven't flown and HP long hauls recently, so I'll defer to others on that.
