Hi FT'ers

My son is flying LHR-NRT soon on a J class ticket bought using BA miles.
Questions:

1) does he need accompanying to the plane (he is 15)?
2) Can he use the lounge or is there an age restriction?
3) Same for the arrivals lounge on his return?
