You know the old story--that and $XXXX will get you a cup of coffee

Seriously, I'm in it for the miles and gathering and sharing as much information as possible.

As an aside, I sent a email this morning to someone in OP abut the new NW and DL initiatives for their best customers and was told by this person that they would 'pass it along'. I can only hope that they don't need feedback from me before they are aware of these things. Perhaps they will react. We'll see.

Aside#2. As I write this, my wife is at PHX awaiting a connecting HP flight to SAN. She went to get into the HP club and played dumb. Of course they would not let her in, but apologized strongly. Whe they saw she was a CO Platinum, they comped her to HP Platinum on the spot. When going midweek to the West Coast, it appears that you either pay CO's $2400 RT or go CO to LAS (~$300) and then HP beyond (~100). SInce I just can't stand to pay $2,400 for a $400 trip, both of us will probably be doing a lot of these LAS shuttles in the next year, unless CO changes its tariff model. It is not a bad thing to have HP Platinum if they will comp it.

EDITED TO ADD:
RESAGENT 86 is Number 1 in my book.
