You were on flt 529, correct? The CO schedule shows that as a 737-300 - if that's what you flew, makes me wonder if the CO people who do aircraft planning shouldn't put a 737-700 on this route, as I would think the 73Gs more powerful engines should be better able to cope with DEN's altitude.
Excellent question and thats the exact one I asked the pilot. He said that with the current conditions, even a 738 with winglets would have had the same problem with the tires as the less powerful 733. He said power wasnt the issue...
