Rob - I discussed this with Dovster yesterday and we agreed that until we have a clue on how many are actually coming and their relative budget, we cannot even begin to plan a place for dinner and the day trips. The Saturday dinner will most probably be a low budget one - focusing more on the event and people and less on the food and place (although we'll try to find an interesting place for it). If it will be a large group, we will try to limit ourself to a reasonable walking distance to the main hotel area where you can find more tourist traps and less great restaurants.

On the rest of the evenings, we might do smaller groups in more exclusive and unique places (and there are plenty of those in Tel Aviv and around).
