If you are ever up in Northeast PA near a small town called Tamaqua, you must stop in a Leiby's Ice Cream House & Restraunt. Ice Cream is made locally by the Leiby's dairy. It is rich, dense, creamy, and when you taste it there is a perfect balance between the butterfat and the rest of the flavors in the ice cream.

A number of restraunts and dairy bars in this area serve it and it is unlike anything else I've ever had. If you go to the restraunt, in addition to the ice cream their pies are just like homemade. Made fresh daily with no preservatives, and served with a scoop of their ice cream, it just doesn't get any better then that.
