Eyecue, IMO (and it's not even humble), this response lumps you in with the same type of screeners Mats is reporting on. You know full well that the chances of their ever being any documentation on this type of incident is next to null, unless Mats or someone else stands close to a checkpoint with a hidden microphone and camera. Maybe sometime, somewhere this will happen.

You are in your own world at your station and can't seem to understand that things might be different at other airports. There's a huge world out there and not everyone lives in it by the same rules.

Take the advice of some posters here and travel through some of the airports mentioned, like EWR, to see for yourself what is happening before telling posters that their reports are "anecdotal".
