I believe from my flight in the late 80s that it was called "Crown Class" for a while - possibly to differentiate it from FIRST - but it was all one class and all Concorde service in the two cabins.
I recently went to visit the Air France Concorde and the Russian Konkordski TU-144 in Sinsheim, Germany.
The Russian aircraft had three cabins, and although most of the seats were removed in the example I saw, it did seems to me that the forward cabin would have been for VVIPs and Party Apparachiks, so perhaps you could have heard about that?
