The following is for lurkers or anyone else that would like to factor in live poker into a decision between MGM & Alladin. Poker is getting more popular so this might be helpful to someone.

From what I understand, the MGM is now the best place to play low limit poker. If one planned on playing, he should be able to get a reduced room rate too.

For those that play middle limits or higher (like $15-30 or higher), the place to go is still the Bellagio. These limits aren't even offered at the MGM. In this case, one would want to stay at the Alladin b/c it's much closer to the Bellagio. Wynn also has come onto the poker scene. I hear it has a good $40-80 game. Both it and the Bellagio also offer lower limit games, but my understanding is that the MGM has more tables for the low limit games and has a better comp system. If one wanted to play at the Wynn or Mirage, the Alladin would also be closer to those properties.
