Grrr...

Just an update.. the flight TBS-LHR was on an Airbus 320 with separate Club World section in a 2-2 config; econ was 3-3. I called AA CS on Tuesday when biz award availability opened up on BA; I was unable to reticket as there wasn't an AA office in Yerevan or Tbilisi and they said I couldn't use the BA office. AAdvantage CS was going to put a note in the record to allow us to fly in biz anyway. However when we arrived at the airport this morning, the only note in the record was changing our award class to M-class, not U. They had also managed to dink up our seat reservations, and we ended up sitting in 23AB (last row on the plane). Econ was totally full, but biz class went out 2/3 empty. This after spending $50 in international calls from Armenia trying to sort out the ticketing. I guess the only consolation is with it being in M-class I might earn miles.

I haven't flown BA economy in years (only First ) so can't really compare the service with other flights. Food in econ was pretty vile though this may be normal . Otherwise it felt like a BA flight, same uniforms, paint job, etc. BMed had their own inflight magazine focusing on their destinations in addition to the standard BA mag.
