I just found out today (7/29) that I have to be in HNL for work on 8 - 12 Aug. Quick check with Hilton products in HNL found them booked so no points this trip.

Since this is my first trip to the islands and I will already be on travel in Seattle the week prior I plan to fly on the 5th to HNL arriving 11:35 am.. Here is where I am flexible. With miles on UN, CON, NW and AA I figure, (perhaps naively), I can get inter-island tickets free. So nites of 5th and 6th I can spend on any island. Nites of 7th - 12th I need to be in/near Waikiki. I found a place for 9th-12th but could cancel if I find a place available 7th -12th. Any suggestions for 5th, 6th and 7th ,8th??
