Hi,

i am planning to do a mileage run between Chiang Mai Int'l and Mae Hong Son (HGN).

I was wondering about some points. The departure and arrival times between the flights are only 20-30 minutes so i was wondering when is the earliest time i can get my boarding passes for a domestic flight?

so my plan is to get all bording passes for the day at the first flight checkin.

the flight is only 79 Miles and cost oneway 30usd giving me 500 miles per flight.

If i could do all 6 flights on the day, i would earn 3000 miles .

as i am 8000 points short of gold, i was thinking to invest this money to get my gold status and the gold birthday upgrade.

the flight time is only 35 minutes so the time i have to spent on planes is shorter compared to everything i have in mind and the costs seems to be cheap.

any other ideas for a asian mileage run which is cheaper ?
