At CDG I'd say a frequent visitor of the airport would need 45mins within T2 and an hour if doing a terminal change. Within T1 30-45mins should suffice. Sadly MCT is set not by how fast we are able to move about an airport that is a logistical mess, but how fast your average tourist will be able to do it.

And the problem is that MCT is what the booking engines will use as a minimum transfer, unless you force it, and then if you loose your connection or luggage you are out of luck.
