Why not do Hotwire or Priceline and let the decision be taken out of your hands?

As a local, never stayed at either place, but Little America definitely has the better reputation. Their upscale sibling, the Grand America, is thought to be far and away the most luxurious place to stay in SLC (I believe the Grand America is now AAA 5-diamond).
