Unfortunately there are some FAs out there that don't see the other side. A friend of mine and I were talking by the galley the other day and he asked an FA if they were going to strike. The response was "not yet" and then a rant on how congress was going to stop United from "doing this to us." When I asked her if she thought that a strike would deepsix the airline and put the pension back in the PBGC's hands anyways, she didn't know how to respond. She had clearly never thought about that happening, I'm guessing because that scenario was not in the AFA's latest e-mail.

This is the most dangerous part about AFA's management. They are only painting the upside scenario of these actions and some FAs are not aware of the downside scenario. Again, acting in the best interests of AFA management, not AFA members.
