Well, I guess that there are several variations going around. I am Platinum and qualified easily last year. My offer letter said 5 R/Ts to a long list of cities. The list contains most of the major U.S. cities at some distance from my home base in Houston. Notable exceptions are Las Vegas, Reno, Portland, Seattle, and New Orleans. Dallas is on the list, but you usually can get a non q/t fare to Los Angeles for the same price as a Dallas non q/t fare.

On another note, has anyone tried to get CO to add a city to their list? For instance, Oakland and Sacramento are not on my list, but San Francisco and San Jose are. If I were going to Sacramento, it would be nice to fly there direct rather than going to San Francisco or San Jose and driving. Houston to San Jose and Sacramento are priced similarly in V class.
