And then when I finally do get a rep, they don't have the common courtesy to do a greeting , but instead have a "personalized" RECORDED greeting!

AA Europe (Dublin based) is not like that. And irrespective of the greetings the point is how helpful the staff and the rules they must obey are. I must say I've found AAdv staff really top notch most of the times.
