Food was excellent at Les Halles last night - had an escargot appetizer and Steak au Poivre for the main course. The steak was perfectly cooked and was incredibly tender.

Service was kind of lousy, though. Lots of waiting, they never came to check on us, we had to ask several times for a water refill. I felt like I was in Paris already
