Marriott Hotel Tiers?
I'm a little confused. I was told by a meeting planner about a year or so ago that Renaissance were supposed to be the nicest Marriotts, next to JW. But my experience with Renaissance hotels is that they're usually more functional and a little "hipper" and Marriott-branded hotels seem to be a little more upscale, with some variance by property. So, what do you think the "tiering" is of the Marriott properties? Here's my best guess:
Ritz Carlton
JW Marriott
Marriott
Renaissance
Courtyard
Residence
Fairfield
Where do TownPlace and Springhill Suites fit in, and what about the Marriott suites like the one I found at O'Hare?
