I have often had problems with View Bookings, where it will work for a particular itinerary for a while, then it will stop working and I get an error message. Although the error message says the problem is temporary and to “try back later”, I usually find the problem to be permanent. I have an itinerary right now that I am unable to view, so I e-mailed AC and received the following reply:
“Kindly take note that by using the "view bookings" tool, you are able to display reservations the way they were originally booked, if by any reason the original reservation is modified due to changes on the itinerary, schedule changes, etc., the “view bookings” option will no longer display the itinerary as your reservation has been modified.”
I know this is not entirely true, since I have had some schedule changes that show up in View Bookings. However, if there is some truth to this, doesn’t it defeat the whole purpose of View Bookings? My main reason for using this tool is to keep track of any changes to my itinerary!
