By and large I find the EC staff polite, well mannered and helpful. Most are well informed, and my FT-gained knowledge helps educate the rest. The reservation staff can be a little less polished but are still pretty good.

However, that is speaking as a Gold where my call normally gets picked up within a minute or so.
