Sorry to intrude on your board but a colleague of mine and his family are flying from the UK to MCO via IAD this weekend with UA. United had sold them a connection time in IAD of just 90 minutes. This is to clear US Immigration and Customs etc and then get to the gate for their MCO flight.

Personally I've entered the US many times via ORD, DFW etc and from those experiences find 90 minutes very optimistic, particularly if a number of overseas 744's and 777's arrive around the same time or just before.

Any experiences and opinions on this would be most welcome - I was wondering if as a precaution he should ask UA now to change his MCO connecting flight?
