we have friends visiting kona from houston this week...they flew co instead of ua, despite the almost $200 per ticket difference because the husband was convinced ua was going to strike. apparently an airline analyst in his company said it was a likely event.
i disagreed, and tried to convince them it wasn't going to happen and to fly ua...now it looks as though they made the right decision. i just don't understand what the fa's hope to achieve, seriously, since we're dealing with a bankrupt company. i'm not a terribly savvy business person (i have other skills

) but hurting the airline makes no sense to me.
