gregorygrady: I purchased my ticket a while back to lock in a good fare. I'm checking the flights off and on, and they don't seem to be too full yet, so hopefully I'll be OK for another week.
Ramomatic: Yes, they gave me the exact date when I called them (first the RR line, then the customer service line, and on hold a while on the second line). But if there's a discernible pattern (i.e., issued the first day of the month after you requalify, or the first day of the month of expiration, etc.) then that could be added to the FAQ and avoid CP-holders spending their (and WN's) time on the phone.
