Just wanted to chime in with my agreement on the HR Hua Hin. One of the best values around. Great staff, nice location of the RC - separate wing rather than upper floors as in a "normal" place and the separate RC pool & lounge outside by the pool. And the main hotel "river" pool & waterslide are also fantastic. By all means if you are in Bangkok go down there for 2-3 days, you won't be disappointed.
