At the bottom of AA's
press release today regarding JFK's new terminal is this little characterization:
Fort Worth-based American Airlines is a unit of AMR Corp. (NYSE: AMR - News).
The airline is the flagship carrier at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. It serves about 10 million customers at JFK International each year, according to a press release.
Have you all ever heard AA described as the flagship carrier at DFW? Of course they have an 85% market share but I wonder when they started referring to themselves as the "flagship?" Anyone know?
