I don't know that Delta wants to give all of their first class seats away to T fares several months out, and I guess if you impose strict capacity controls then you haven't improve too much.

One thing is for sure, there are no easy answers.

I just threw out this whole idea a couple of days ago to generate some discussion. DL’s current FC offering is an abysmal, embarrassing example of what it once was and/or what it can still be. I’m just trying to figure out a way they can make a few bucks off the front cabin and put back some of the amenities.
Continuing to give it away as they are currently doing is not going to generate any improvements IMO.
