I got the really cheap Sigma 70-300, for $139 from B&H. It was a little more there than other places, but B&H has a no-questions-asked return policy w/ no restocking fees if I wasn't happy with it.

It has gotten some mixed reviews, but I like it so far, I'll post some sample photos you can look at.
