LHR-LAGOS downsized from 744 to 767 due to runway damage

See this from BA site:

Passengers are advised that the runway at Lagos airport has sustained some damage. As a result, British Airways has deemed it unsafe to operate their usual Boeing 747s to this airport until repairs to the runway have been completed to our satisfaction.

British Airways has taken the decision to continue to operate the Lagos service with a smaller aircraft (the Boeing 767) as this does not require as long a runway in order to land safely.

Unfortunately, due to the smaller size of aircraft operating this route some passengers may face disruption.

We apologise to passengers for any inconvenience caused to their travel arrangements.
