Those unfamiliar with KL's fleet may wish to note that compared to AF (and most other major airlines) their longhaul aircraft have very few premium seats. No first class, no premium economy and small business class cabins.
For example, 42 out of 430 seats on a 744 equals only 8%, and 35 out 327 equals just under 11% on the 772.
MD11 = 11%,767 = 13½%. Even the 74M, where the cargo compartment takes up about half the main deck, only manages 15%.
Not good for your operational upgrade chances, obviously.
