This is targeted more towards last minute business travellers. As an example, our firm abandoned a prospective partnership with a Nebraska firm last year, due in large measure to the extremely high cost of last minute airfares between DFW and OMA.

Indeed, for a time, we were routing one guy through Oklahoma City, who then had to fly back through DFW on his way to Omaha... even though it was substantially more inconvenient and wasted a great deal of time, booking him to OKC and back first for no reason was much less costly than if he had simply booked the DFW-OMA roundtrip w/o the OKC sidetrip.
