As Continental changes it's policies (again) pushing it's platinum elite flyers into coach with as much regularity as they used to give out the upgrades, those platinum elites (that have a choice) will fly American's MRTC and United's M+.
If the One Pass Elite program's big claim to fame was/is unlimited domestic upgrades, but you never or hardly ever get those upgrades, elite members will choose aircraft that have roomier economy seating (or airlines that still use mainline aircraft, not Barbie jets).
Tell us to deal with being coach? Sure, no sweat, but congratulations on destroying your only competitive advantage, and your customer base - I'll be on United in Economy Plus, the seat next to mine blocked out and have that all coordinated by an elite dedicated telephone staff that has been put aside just for me and other Premiere Executives.
Gordo the liar should buy a clue.
