One big plus of DC is that you don't have to be the DC holder to receive miles in a FF account. AX only lets you transfer into an account in your own name. So you can top of accounts from family, friends, etc. as well.
Although I have not experienced myself but if I remember correctly I read somewhere in this forum that you also cannot transfer points from DC to anyone else account in AA and BA.
