Was just there

In SIN at the west end of Orchard Rd where it curves into Tanglin Rd. Diagonally across from the twin Orchard Towers. Right at the curve of the road. On the south side of the street like the Hilton. Walk out the Hilton Lobby, turn left, about 75 yards. I think store name starts with M, look it up in the yellow pages if you need to. I think they have more locations, but I only go to this one.

Walk in humidor, great selection, global prices plus the SIN sin tax against tobacco.

If you are only buying a few, when you pay look behind the counter for any empty boxes. The staff is really cool about saving trash and recycling by giving away empties for free. You can pickup some really neat classy boxes.

Other bets:

In Kuala Lumpur inside the Concorde Hotel, in the short arcade between the lobby and the Hard Rock Cafe is a huge cigar store and bar.

For a classy place to buy your goods, with acceptable prices, in BKK go to the Number One Hotel in the World, the Oriental. (How do they beat Motel 6 Level of Service? 1500 staff to take care of 300 rooms could have something to do with it.)

Out the back of the lobby toward the river is a store. Not sure what all they sell but the name over the door is "La Casa del Habano". (My empty box says they also have stores in Hong Kong and Jakarta.)

Enjoy.
