There are lots of places to look on the web for good suggestions. For food, I'd check out the NY section of www.chowhound.com. There are so many places I love for a pre-theater dinner... Firebird which is beautiful and has Russian food.. Vice Versa - very innovative Italian.. the list is endless. You can look at www.broadwaybox.com for special theater deals or www.playbill.com.
