While I tend to let people do as they want to do as long as it doesnt impact me, this can leave a negative impression in a LOT of flier's minds. IMHO they should have a clear policy as part of their dress code. If they can make guys cover up tattoos - which I have seen several times - then perhaps they should limit piercings to the ears.
