The the whole thing about issue in Europe/UK surfaced but I had NOT realized that a Luftansa office would be able to issue a fare available on the web. In the end all worked out. I am flying HAM-LHR and a few days later LHR-MUC, all for a VERY LOW price of 100 Euros INCLUSIVE OF ALL TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES ^ ^ ^

Thanks to all on the thread for all the help.
Now the ONLY segments that I need to book to complete my trip is
Vienna to Berlin(Potsdam). I had planned on doing it by air Berlin but am now thinking if I should just take a train as opposed to the hustle and bustle of dealing with airports in Vienna and Berlin.

Thanks again. Mukesh
Uh, I wouldn't suggest that - you'd be faster in Canada than in Berlin!
