WARNING CO new and old web sites are "rigged"
I needed to fly from Gulfport to Chicago on Sept 9th return AFTER 6pm on the 10th. I found on Travelocity, American Express, ITA software etc CO flights at $191.50. The outbound could be either CO metal or NW metal. The return HAD to be NW metal at 6:30pm. The NW website priced at $543.50. The same flights are codeshared by CO. These Appear on the 3 websites I mentioned AND on CO's downloadable timetables, and schedule. But... Guess what? NO NW METAL, appears on the CO web sites, either OLD or NEW! I can search by schedule, time of day, etc. But under no circumstances can I get the NW metal. I called CO and bought the ticket I wanted CO flight numbers on the NW flights for the $191.50 instead of the $543.50 NW wanted. My question is...
Why doesn't CO's web sites show the NW metal anymore? "accident" or sinister? I'm thinking this is to "deny" (my apologies NjDavid) NW revenue and keep it at CO. What do you guys think?
