I noticed transcon's are much better availability. Go check out any international destinations and see how easy it is to book. BTW, welcome to SNA in Dec, that's my home...I have done the SNA/EWR route many times, not bad as CO is the only NYC nonstop to SNA, but ugh on those 737s!
