Viajero brings up an interesting point. I had to get a last minute ticket to a West Coast destination. The cheapest Coach fare was over $ 800. I decided to use my OnePass miles. No Standard awards, only Easy Pass awards, totaling 50,000 miles for the RT. But the First Class award was only 22,500 each way. I?m off to the Bay Area in First Class for 45,000 miles rather than being on the exact same planes stuck in Coach for 50,000.
