If you are flying in and out of SIN why don't you get them at the airport. I believe one can also purchase things on arrival, at least there are stores on the arrival level too so it should be possible. However, the duty free with the good cigars is on the departure level at which you will deboard the plane anyway IIRC (it has been 3 days for me since getting off an SQ flight in SIN so my memory is fussy )

BTW, that store was expensive IMHO. A new one??? Hmm, I'm going to ask some friends here in SIN, maybe they have an idea.
