If you fly into Toronto(YYZ) rather than Boston you can get to Niagra Falls in about an hours drive from the airport, spend the day there and catch a flight out that evening. Although don't know much about the connecting flights from there to Paris

If you choose to fly into NY go to Buffalo rather than flying to Boston, it would also be a driving possibility for you to the falls.
