My son has a portable DVD player that is powered by the same type of 12v plug that you can plug into a car cigarette lighter.
Do any AirTran seats have power outlets?
Either in coach or business class?
Thanks.
Offical answer: No, AirTran does not have in-seat power on any of their planes.
That being said... if you ever need to recharge something on a 737, go to the back of the plane, where there is a little standing area in front of the two lavs. If you look down near the floor by the door, there is a standard power outlet back there (you have to lift a small peice of plastic to see it). There's also one up in the front, but then you're just getting in everyone's way.

There are no offical rules about PAX using this outlet, as of yet, mostly because no one knows it's there. Great for those 'oh, I really meant to charge my cell phone...' moments.
