Also, which model laptop are you using it for? Just curious. I have a brand spanking new Compaq nc6220.
I have been using the PnoteAC75 for about 2 years now and I have not had any problems using it on any aircraft. The cigarette adaptor for use in a vehicle has also been used to recharge my laptop on trips. My laptop bag gets a little full at times and the 4.5 in x 3 in x 1.5 in size of the unit is a little large, but I always seem to find something else to jettison, it is one of those things that I never leave home without. I actually have 3 of them now.
It is a good solution to fumbling with all of those tips.
