Pleasure or business, I always dress "snappy casual" -- perhaps that is just my nature anyway. Usually banana republic slacks or jeans and a comfortable button-down with light sweater (in the winter). I usually always get treated great compared to others who are more in the tank-top genre.

As others have mentioned here, attitude is huge; and I am a very nice person. Does clothing play a factor? Sure, it smoothes the way and gives a person a positive first impression. Given that it takes extra minimal effort, why not?!
