Before the current construction you could easily duck out into the parking structure and have a very short line through security to return to the terminal
What I do is get a locker in the P-Club (they now make you imprint a CC to get the key) take your ticket and go outside - Walking through security with no baggage or metal in your pocket makes it bery doable</font>
I find it weird that all over the US you can smoke at bars outside of airports, but not inside airports. The only airports I've found that allow smoking after security so far are LAS and IAD. Maybe I need to get around more?
I ended up using a locker (thankfully they can actually hold a suitcase unlike the lockers at CLE) and alternating between excellent free margaritas (don't remember the server's name in the north PC) and going out to smoke.
