Id like to know what everybody feeling is on this this:

1) Do you dress up even on pleasure trips??
2) Has dressing better gotten you better service??
3) Has "dressing down" ever gotten you worse service.

I thought this might be a interesting topic to discuss. Fire away.
I agree with your observation, thus I do tend to dress better when I fly. I'm old enough to remember when this was almost "required". I'll never forget when I flew home with an aunt I was visiting and I put bluejeans on for the flight home. She asked "are you sure you should wear those?" I was probably 10 years old or so at the time, so her question was lost on me then, but now I understand completely.

I can't say whether dressing down has gotten me worse service, but I can think of a number of times when dressing better has seemingly improved my service.
