Note how the bull**** starts whenever you attack the sacred cows of union dues

[QUOTE=negotiator]For everyone who is advocating Parnel's dilusional version of how the industrial relations system in Canada should work let me remind you that in order for this to take place you would need to:

1) Abolish the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, more specifically, the Constitional gaurantee of the right to 'freely associate';
I din't say abolish unions I said public service unions should be barred from striking and both sides agree to binding arbitration which is more human rights oriented than shutting down the country because some union thug has a bee in his bonnet or cannot control his membership.

2) Recind Canada's committment to 'encourage free collective bargaining' under the International labour Organization's (the 'ILO') 1998 declaration of Fundemental Rights at Work - A United Nations ('UN') core treaty!
That's a commie organization and the US won't agree to to its collectivism approach so why should we

3) Recind the Surpreme Court of Canada decision in Dunmore v. Ontario wherein the Surpreme Court ruled that all workers have the right to associate with a labour organization of their own choosing;
That's fine but why does everyone have to get tainted by paying dues for the union thugs vacations or their great investment skills in beer buying and phantom hotels in the Carribean.

4) Turn back the clock some 100 years on the percarious balance of power between labour and management and run our industrial relations system like some third world tin-pot dictatorship would!
No, turn the clock forward and see what a wonderful world we could have without strikes that cripple our society. And see what enlightened minds can do when not threatened with violence or blackmail. Unions are the tinpot dictators of our country.
